When you use Punchit to manage your punch card system, you may enter the following information about your customers:

• Notes and custom information
• Punch card balances and transaction history

1.2 Business Data

The app also stores information you create about your business operations:

• Card group names and descriptions
• Account information linking customers to card groups
• Transaction records (dates, amounts, notes)

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

We do not collect any analytics, usage data, or device information. The app operates entirely on your device and your iCloud account.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data you enter into Punchit is used solely for the following purposes:

• Local Storage: Data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData
• iCloud Sync: Data is synchronized to your personal iCloud account to enable access across your devices
• Sharing Functionality: When you explicitly choose to share a card group, that specific group's data is shared with other iCloud users you designate
• App Functionality: To display customer information, track balances, record transactions, and generate statistics

We do not:

• Access, view, or analyze your data
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising or marketing
• Sell your data to anyone
• Track your app usage or behavior

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, which provides encrypted storage through iOS's built-in security features.

3.2 iCloud Storage

When iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is:

• Encrypted in transit and at rest
• Protected by your iCloud account credentials
• Subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
• Only accessible to you and users you explicitly share card groups with

3.3 Shared Data

When you share a card group with other users:

• Only the specific card group you choose to share is accessible to other users
• Shared users can view and edit accounts within that shared group
• Customer information is shared across all card groups globally in the app
• You can stop sharing at any time by removing participants

4. Data Retention

Your data remains in the app and your iCloud account until you choose to delete it. You can:

• Delete individual transactions, accounts, customers, or card groups at any time
• Remove all app data by deleting the app from your device
• Remove iCloud data by managing your iCloud storage settings

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times
• Modification: You can edit any information you've entered
• Deletion: You can delete any data through the app's interface
• Export: Your data is stored in your iCloud account and can be accessed through iCloud settings
• Sharing Control: You control which card groups are shared and with whom

6. Third-Party Services

Punchit uses the following Apple services:

• CloudKit: For data synchronization and sharing (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)
• iCloud: For cloud storage (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

7. Children's Privacy

Punchit does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is designed for business use by individuals managing customer loyalty programs. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not use this app without parental supervision.

8. International Users

Your data is stored on Apple's iCloud servers, which may be located in various countries. Apple's data storage locations are subject to their privacy policy and data handling practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
